A man in Faisalabad probably received the shock of his life when Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) sent him a bill, not in thousands, but in millions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to reports, the man, a shopkeeper, was asked to pay an electricity bill totalling Rs38.1 million, and in the event of non-payment of the amount within the due date, he will have to pay Rs40.6 million along with Rs2.5 million fine.

The jittery shopkeeper told media that he had consumed only 460 units, but was sent such an inflated bill. “I cannot pay the amount even if I sell the shop for that,” he added.
