Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) President Fazlur Rehman came down hard on the ruling Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
Addressing a gathering in DIK, he said his party never accepted the 2018 elections and brought all the parties to one platform that too rejected the fake polls. Opposition parties joined hands against the government of PM Imran Khan and formed an alliance titled PDM with the JUI chief as its head.
Fazl told the gathering that the public mandate was stolen in the 2018 general election. He expressed his resolve to continue with the struggle to oust the government that has been exposed in three years.
He said this government has ruined the economy and inflicted big damage upon the country. He claimed that the Federal Board of Revenue stated the country is on the verge of economic disaster. Fazl added that the Chinese leadership did not meet the premier as they were angry and the inaugural event are being staged in a room.
He questioned why public money is being wasted on such a futile exercise. He said other developing states left the country far behind in the race for development. He claimed even the situation in Afghanistan is better than that of Pakistan.
He said the government has nothing to do with Pakistan and public service and it wanted to make Pakistan a slave. The elements who brought Imran Khan to power corridor are too feeling remorse, Fazl opined. However, he said he would not let the government ruin Pakistan.
