Punjab Assembly (PA) speaker and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said on Tuesday the party was not considering parting ways with the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government at Center, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to the media along with the delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P),

which had visited his residence in Lahore to inquire after ailing Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, a senior politician and PML-Q president, Pervaiz said only the opposition could tell about the no-trust move it planned to bring against the government in the National Assembly. “It could be gauged from the opposition leaders’ statements that right now they were making preparations for that.

Speaking on the occasion, MQM-P leader Aamir Khan said the party was in no mood to increase its share in the coalition government at the Center. “We have just one ministry, and we are not even interested in that,” he added.

Aamir said both MQM-P and PML-Q are coalition partners of the PTI government, and politics were discussed whenever leaders of the two parties sat together. “Whatever decision we take in future, will take after consultations with each other,” he made it clear.
