Balochistan govt announces three-day mourning after deadly blasts

Balochistan government, after twin terror attacks in Pishin and Killa Saifullah, announced three-day mourning to express solidarity with the families of the victims of the blasts, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 


Balochistan’s Information Minister Jan Achakzai describing the terror blasts as tragic, clarified on Wednesday that election process would continue as per schedule on Thursday and the government would not bow before the terrorists.


He said that if the injured people will not get treatment in Quetta, they will be shifted to other cities.


Jan Achakzai told media that initial reports suggested that explosives were planted on a motorcycle. The further investigations continue.


Terming India as an international terrorist, Achakzai said the banned outfits who were involved in Mach attacks were also behind today’s attacks. He said war against terrorist would continue.


He said the people of Balochistan would thwart terrorists’ plans in the province. He assured that elections in Balochistan will proceed peacefully. He added that despite the tragic event, the government will fulfill their responsibilities, and foil terrorists’ plans.
