Supporters of an independent candidate resorted to firing on the dera of PML-N workers in Shakargarh on Thursday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
An exchange of hot words over pasting election stickers led to the firing on the PML-N activists’ sitting place in Sakhu Chak area in Saddar Police Station precincts.
The police have registered a case on the complaint of the PML-N workers who nominated nine people of the rival camp and 14 unknown persons in the FIR.
The charges in the FIR also included sections relating to issuing life threats and attempted murder.
