Unidentified persons attacked with a hand grenade at the residence of Member National Assembly (MNA) Nasir Khan Musazai in Peshawar on Sunday evening.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Circle in Peshawar Malik Habib has said that the hand grenade fell into the chimney of the room of the MNA.
SP Malik Habib said the attackers threw a hand grenade from the road and without no time disappeared from the scene.
Anyhow, the SP Saddar Circle confirmed that no casualties were reported in the attack, adding that the police have collected evidence from the scene and started investigations.
Pertinent to mention here that MNA Nasir Khan Musazai has recently decided to join Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) by leaving the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman strongly condemned the attack on the house of PTI defector MNA Nasir Musazai and demanded the government expose the perpetrators behind the act.
