Lollywood legend Nisho’s rib-tickling reply about her marriages on a TV show left the audience in stitches.
“What can I do? I don’t want to get married, but it always happens effortlessly. I try to avoid getting into any relationship like marriage, but proposals just keep coming” she said in reply to Hina Niazi’s question.
Adding a playful twist, Nisho urged fellow guest singer Rafaqat Ali to consider another marriage.
In response to a question from the audience, Nisho expressed her belief that marriages do not affect stardom.
“This is a must for life,” she said, stressing that personal relationships and stardom can coexist.
Nisho, a former icon of Pakistani cinema, is celebrated for her performances in films like Rangeela, Jaal, Tiger Gang, Baazi, and Insaan Aur Gadha.
She also earned acclaim for her role in Baaji, where she starred as Meera’s mother. Nisho, who is the mother of actress Sahiba, frequently makes headlines for her witty takes on her past marriages and relationships.
The veteran artist also recited comic poetry about her son-in-law, Jan Ramboo.
