Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday visited Corps Headquarters Peshawar, said ISPR.

In a tweet, ISPR said, the army chief was briefed on prevailing security situation, progress on development works & socio economic uplift in tribal districts.

Expressing satisfaction on improved security situation and measures for better border management including fencing, COAS General Bajwa lauded security forces in assisting civil administration for fight against COVID-19; particularly effective containment efforts.
