A meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee,  chaired by the Finance Minister, has approved an increase in gas prices.

The ECC has approved a reduction in gas prices for export and non-export sectors and an extension of the flour relief package to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa got approved.

The ECC approved a supplementary grant of Rs20 million from the Ministry of Industries and Production.

It okayed the cancellation of the tender for the import of 500,000 metric tonnes of wheat approved ECC has approved TCP to issue a new tender for 300,000 metric tonnes of wheat

The meeting also approved a guarantee of Rs 10 billion for the Jamshoro Power Plant and okayed meeting approved a tax exemption for JICA.
