Mianwali police with the help of capital territory police have raided the house of PTI General Secretary and Opposition Leader in National Assembly Omar Auyb Khan in Islamabad’s F10 area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the details, Mianwali and capital police wanted to arrest Omar Ayub in an anti-terrorism case registered in Sargodha as Sargodha ATC has issued his arrest warrants.
However, Omar Ayub was not available at his residence and ultimately police went back.
After the raid, the Opposition Leader told the media that ATC Sargodha issued a bailable arrest warrant.
He said that Form 47 governments of PML-N in the Centre and Punjab wanted to arrest the Opposition Leader with the help of security agencies.
He pledged that PTI’s struggle will continue till the PTI founder Imran Khan is released from jail and appointed as the prime minister of the country.
