Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has taken serious action on gross violation by UAE-based flydubai airline after its flight from Dubai to Sialkot carried nine Iranian passengers without taking exemption from the competent authority, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The CAA in a notification announced that foregoing in view, the competent authority has decided to take penal action against the airline under Civil Aviation Rules 1994 by revoking the authorization/permission issued to FlyDubai flight FZ-337 Dubai-Sialkot on June 11.

In a letter, CAA said, ‘Airport Manager Sialkot has informed that FlyDubai has transported nine Iranian national passengers from Dubai to Sialkot today on flight FZ-343 without taking exemption from the Competent Authority.”
The CAA said that FlyDubai in February 2021 also violated the SOP by transporting one Covid-19 positive passenger to Karachi this is the second violation by the airline by bringing passengers from Category-C country from where travelling to Pakistan is banned except prior approval from the NCOC Exemption Committee.
“This gross negligence on part of the airline has been viewed seriously,” the aviation regulator said that.
