Firstly, the band requested everyone to pray for the ‘witty’ musician as “He would want us to celebrate his life”.
The news of Farhad’s departure was announced in the most soul-shattering manner as the band declared that the artist has left us for the stars.
Courageous during any kind of challenge, adamant in his values, big-hearted and fast-witted, Farhad’s presence was highly controversial to the proceedings of the band.
Overload wrote, "The magnificent Farhad Humayun left us for the stars this morning. Stoic in the face of challenges, uncompromising in his values, generous to a fault, witty as hell! Fadi was far too ahead of his time, both in spirit and art”.
It was further written, “He would want us to celebrate his life, so we request his family, friends and fans to honour him and say a prayer for him today”.
Lastly Overload chose an exceedingly core-touching quote for their departed member, “We can almost hear him say these words by David Bowie: ‘I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring’. Godspeed our gentle giant and thank you for creating a Riot!”
It seems that the news of Farhad Humayun’s death has caused an uproar as it is of the most trending topics on Twitter right now.
Taimur Rahman, Farhad’s cousin and musician took out the time to mourn his cousin’s death by announcing the news on his Twitter handle: "My cousin, Farhad Humayun, has passed away. He was an incredible musician and artist. An emptiness has taken the place of his larger than life personality."
In 2018, singer Farhad had talked about brain tumour however the reason of his death hasn’t been discovered yet.
