Ally of the Imran-led government and Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) supremo Chaudhry Shujat Hussain Tuesday reached the house of Jamiat Ulema-e Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad to remove his grievances and discuss the current political scenario.
The 24News HD TV channel disclosing the inside story of the meeting between Shujat and Maulana Fazl reported that Maulana Fazlur Rehman complained that he did not attend the invitation of Shehbaz Sharif.
Maulana Fazl said that Shehbaz Sharif came to your house at my request and now Shehbaz Sharif was angry and I was personally feeling ashamed of not accepting the invitation.
On this, Shujat said, "I have come on my own to remove your grievances." Shujat said he had promised that if he came to Islamabad, he would come to visit Maulana’s residence so I have come straight to you."
During one on one meeting, Maulana Fazl requested the PML-Q supremo to support the No-Confidence Motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in the house.
Replying to it, Shujat said that he could not give assurance alone, I will put the request in the party.
Along with PML-Q supremo, Chaudhry Salik Hussain was also present in the meeting.
