Karachi uplift masterplan on the cards

The Sindh government has decided to make a new master plan for the development of Karachi, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
According to the sources, Karachi will be developed with the financial aid of the World Bank. They said that the CLICK Project of Karachi, funded by the international organization, will be made more active.
In this regard, a 24-member high-level committee has been formed to make CLICK more vibrant and operational. “Sindh Chief Secretary Dr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput has been appointed as the head of the committee.”
The department of Services, General Administration, and Coordination Wednesday issued a notification.
Senior Member Board of Revenue, Sindh Revenue Board, and Chairman Development and Planning are included in the committee
As members. Additional Chief Secretary, Local Government Secretary, Industries Secretary, and Health Secretary are also included in the committee. The Secretary of School Education, Secretary of College Education, Secretary of Labor, and Manpower Secretary of Energy have been included as members. Secretary Excise, Secretary Agriculture Secretary Finance, Secretary Capital Affairs, Secretary Information Science Technology, Secretary Implementation, Secretary Law, DG Sindh Building Control Authority, DG Environment, DG Sindh Food Authority, Healthcare Commission, and Project Director are included as click members.
The committee will review the performance of the CLICK.
