Commenting on Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government’s plan to sell Islamabad’s Jinnah Convention Centre, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Vice-President and Senator Sherry Rehman said on Saturday that her party would not let the government sell national institutions and buildings, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet, she said that the PTI government had placed an ad in newspapers for the sale of Islamabad’s ‘historic’ Jinnah Convention Centre, which was inaugurated by former prime minister Benazir Bhutto (BB) in 1996.

“Does the government want to increase country’s reserves from its sale?” she queried, and said categorically that PPP strongly rejected the decision.
