Heatwave, dry weather to persist across country: Met Office

The weather office forecasted that due to the heat wave, day temperatures are likely to remain 07-09°C above normal in Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The weather office also forecasted 06-08°C above normal in Sindh and Balochistan.
Also, advised the public to take precautionary measures to avoid heat waves.
The day temperatures are likely to increase in most parts of the country due to high pressure in the upper atmosphere.
It is forecasted that mercury could go up in South Punjab cities, villages and towns in the coming week ahead.
In Faisalabad, Lahore and other plain area of Punjab, the weather could tirn as most intense heat wave
Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas. Saturday’s Highest Temperature’s (°C): Jacobabad, Dadu 48, Larkana, Mohenjo Daro and Sibbi 47.
