Three women were killed Monday in separate incidents in Gujrat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, a man shot dead his wife and daughter and also injured his son in Jalalpur Jattan.
The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Lorry Adda police station. The deceased were identified as Fauzia Naseem and her daughter Misal Fatima.
A case was registered against the accused, Jamshed Iqbal, and two unknown persons on the complaint of the victim’s sister Tamseela Bibi.
Similarly, a man killed his wife by slitting her throat with a sharp-edged tool.
A divorce case was being pursued by Shabana and her husband.
The police registered a case against two unknown persons including stepfather Habib Khan on the complaint of deceased’s daughter Sidra.
On information, the Saddr deputy superintendent of police (DSP) and station house officer (SHO) reached the spot along with the police force.
“Teams of Punjab Forensic Science Agency and Crime Scene Unit are collecting evidence from the spot,” police said.
The incidents of murder are on the rise in Gujrat amid police’s incompetence.
