Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman Tuesday said that JI will continue to raise its voice against injustices, lack of facilities and mismanagement by the concerned authorities in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, the JI chief said Jamaat has effectively protested against atrocities in Palestine or Kashmir and will continue its support for peace in the world.

He said social media effectively raised voice against Israeli aggression in Gaza, while earlier international media used to hush up Jewish aggression on innocent Palestinians.

Hafiz Naeem praised the importance and effectiveness of social media. However, he advised that the new generation should be given education on morality and social issues.

He urged the government to educate youth about Islamic and social values while using social media platforms.

Hafiz Naeem also urged the masses to avoid spreading fake and propaganda news for monetary benefits.

JI chief said he would not support censorship of media. Talking about the wheat crisis, Hafiz Naeem said that the government has committed injustices against the farmers with the import of wheat. He lamented that farmers were getting disappointed with the policies of the government.
