“Prime Minister Imran Khan is my boss, not a friend”, was stated by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa in response to the parliamentarians’ query in the Parliamentary Committee of National Security meeting on Monday.
The 24News HD TV channel revealed some light mood conversations between General Bajwa and some of the parliamentarians during the meeting in the parliament house.
On the absence of Prime Minister Imran Khan from the meeting, Jamiat Ulema Islam Fazl group (JUI-F) leader Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said to the COAS smilingly, “You came but did not bring your friend to this important meeting”.
Giving an abrupt reply to this query, General Bajwa said PM Imran was his boss, not his friend. In the meeting, a militant force named Al-Zulfiqar Force was also discussed.
While Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the issue related to “Absolutely Not” but did not mention his name directly.
The COAS warmly shake hands with Shibli Faraz and also recited poetry of his father, Ahmad Faraz in which he called his angry beloved to come back even for hurting and then leaving him again.
