Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb Tuesday condemned the attempt of former premier Imran Khan to implicate senior journalists including Hamid Mir, Murtaza Solangi and Waqar Satti in the Wazirabad firing incident, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“Do politics. Do not spread mischief, sedition and disorder. You attacked journalists when you were in government. Now you implicate journalists in false cases,” she deplored.
“Do politics. Do not endanger the lives of journalists,” she emphasised and also blamed Imran Khan for doing politics on dead bodies and on journalism.
She castigated Imran Khan for not knowing how to fight a political war with political opponents. “Do political opposition with political opponents. Do not do enmity with the country,” she stressed.
“Whoever speaks against you becomes your enemy?” she loathed.
“Imran Khan has threatened the lives of the three journalists by taking their names which we strongly condemn,” she condemned.
“The entire Pakistan is a victim of the lies, slander and corruption of the foreign funded ‘fitnah’. He wants to set the entire country on fire to come to power,” she despised.
“What do you want to do by setting the country on fire, shedding blood and dropping dead bodies?” she questioned.
“When journalists ask questions, they become the enemy of yours? When the FIA, election commission and court ask questions, they become the enemy of yours? The foreign-funded ‘fitnah’ has not appeared in any legal case against himself till date,” she censured.
