Plea seeking release of Wazirabad firing prime accused disposed of

Lahore High Court (LHC) has disposed of the plea of Naveed, prime accused in attack on former prime minister Imran Khan, seeking release from unlawful detention as he has not been presented before the court so far, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Justice Anwar-ul-Haq of LHC heard the plea. Earlier, LHC Registrar Office had rejected the plea. The court declared that LHC Registrar Office had rejected the plea on merit.
The LHC Registrar Office had put objection on the plea stating that the complainant is not an affected person, adding that non-concerned person cannot file plea for release of some one.
The plea was filed by Dilshad Khan daughter of Liaqat Ali Khan.
