The horrific incident came to light as police said the body of the little girl who had gone missing Tuesday from Charsadda, was found from the fields in Peshawar on Thursday. Later, a medical board confirmed that she was raped.

Moreover, the report also revealed that her body had torture marks and she was stabbed multiple times.

Zainab had reportedly been abducted on Tuesday from her hometown Charsadda however her body was found in the fields of Peshawar a day into the abduction according to the police. As per the reports, her corpse was mutilated and her chest and abdomen were slit open with a sharp object.
The medical authorities had confirmed that the minor Zainab was subjected to sexual abuse and molestation. For the probe, the police sent the DNA samples to Khyber Medical College of Peshawar which confirmed the sexual abuse 18 hours before the body was found.
There have been, however, no leads on the culprit suspected to be involved in the heinous crime.

Father of the victim minor girl has demanded the authorities for immediate arrest of the culprit in Charsadda rape and murder case besides raising demand for publicly hanging
him.
The father of Zainab said in a statement that her daughter was very innocent. He added rape and murder of her became a mystery as he has no enmity with anyone. He asked authorities to immediately arrest the culprit to question him the reason for the brutal act against her.

As a routine matter after such gruesome acts, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mehmood Khan has taken notice of the issue and directed the officials to arrest the culprits immediately.

It is the latest addition to the series of horrendous acts reported in the country where children, especially girls, are raped and killed.
