Informing the people that ads for jobs were being uploaded on Punjab Public Service Commission’s (PPSC) ‘fake’ Facebook page, the PPSC on Friday said it had nothing to do either with the page or the posts being shared on it, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Making it clear that that the commission did not have any Facebook page, spokesman for the PPSC counselled the people to be aware of such ‘fraudsters’ adding those who demanded money from them in return for jobs were not only their but also the PPSC’s enemies. “Attempt is being made to tarnish the image of the department,” the spokesman added.
He informed that the case had been registered against the account with the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Cell.
The spokesman expressed the hope that those involved in this ‘fraud’ would soon be brought to justice.
He further said that authentic information related to vacant posts, exams and their results were only available on the PPSC’s website.
