JUI has played an important role in region, says Fazl

JUI chief Fazlur Rehman has listed his party feats, saying the Jamiat is the oldest and most effective party in Pakistan it has played an important role in the region.

He was speaking at a reception in honor of the Secretary General of the Muslim League of Islam Dr Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Isa.

“The Jamiat Ulema Hind has played an important role in the freedom of the subcontinent.  Allama Shabbir was the first to hoist the flag in Pakistan.

“The JUI has parliamentary and democratic services too. Mufti Mahmood in 1974 declared Qadianis non-Muslims in the parliament and banned the use of the name of Islam for Qadianis.”

He said the services of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman are valued. 

He stressed the need for following the teachings of Islam to cope with emerging challenges, saying: “Islam provides us with beautiful principles to live with the global community. All were forgiven on the occasion of the conquest of Makkah.”

He continued: Thousands of madrasas are engaged in promoting education under the Federation of Madrasas.  More than three million students are studying in these schools. Every year millions of students get the blessing of Holy Quran. 

The party brought together all the schools of thought on one platform and issued a fatwa against terrorism.  Pakistani people have a special relationship with Saudi Arabia” 

Dr Muhammad Abdul Karim Isa paid tribute to Talha Mehmood for her services to humanity.

JUI's services are vital for Muslims of Pakistan, he said adding:  “It is our responsibility to enlighten the youth o with the Islamic teachings. “The true image of Islam can be presented to the world. 

Senator Talha Mahmood heaped praise on the visiting dignitary and stressed that respect for Haram Sharif is in the hearts of the Muslims.

"Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan in difficult times. Alhamdulillah, I actively participate in welfare works and our teams actively participated in the recent floods. Alhamdulillah, I got the opportunity to serve in Palestine, Syria, Bosnia, and other countries."

He also highlighted the devastation caused by recent floods. The Saudi ambassador, Senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Federal Minister Mufti Abdul Shakoor, Adviser to Prime Minister Shah Owais Noorani, and other noted figures were present.
