Electric supply companies in the districts of Khanewal, Sahiwal, Okara, and Kasur are facing difficulties in revenue recovery, resulting in substantial financial losses, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

Okara and Kasur are also experiencing substantial financial setbacks, with losses amounting to Rs 170 million and Rs 190 million respectively.

An alarming situation has emerged in Kasur, where 823,582 consumers are provided electricity services of Rs 122 billion worth. The distribution company in Kasur is facing a staggering loss of 19 billion.

In Okara, where 759,609 consumers are served with electricity of Rs 57 billion worth. The power supply company is facing a financial strain with losses of Rs 7 billion.
