KEMU conducts 20th JCAT exam for postgraduate admissions
Over 6,000 candidates appear for exam in Lahore and Multan centers

King Edward Medical University (KEMU) successfully conducted the 20th Joint Centralized Admission Test (J CAT) examination, a crucial step in the admission process for postgraduate medical courses in all medical institutions across the province.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the examination was held simultaneously in Lahore and Multan centers.
Caretaker Provincial Health Minister Dr. Javed Akaram made a visit to the examination center, personally reviewing the arrangements put in place for the smooth conduct of the exam.
He expressed satisfaction with the preparations, highlighting the importance of this examination in ensuring the selection of qualified candidates for postgraduate medical programs.
KEMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Mahmood Ayaz, Prof. Haroon Hamid, and other officials also visited the examination halls. They collectively praised the arrangements, deeming them satisfactory.
A total of 6,162 candidates participated in this significant examination, with 4,191 candidates appearing in Lahore, and 1,971 in Multan.
Additionally, 254 foreign doctors also took part in the examination, reflecting the international recognition and importance of the J CAT exam.
