An FIR has been registered against close to 3,000 unidentified PTI workers, including the former prime minister and the party founder Imran Khan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, in connection with the party’s protest in Islamabad on October 5, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Sections related to 10 different offences, including those related to terrorism, were inserted in the FIR registered against them for indulging in acts of vandalism and arson.
As per the text of the FIR, the PTI founder incites the party workers to rebel against the state in his meetings with them in violation of the jail manual.
