Dozens of official vehicles and those confiscated by the Excise Department in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were allegedly used in a recent political protest, sources disclosed.

According to the reports, official and impounded vehicles were distributed among political leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Sources claim that these vehicles, numbering 38 and of various models, were gathered from a government warehouse and the Excise Department and then transported to the Chief Minister’s House.

The vehicles were subsequently handed over to PTI leaders for use in a protest. Excise Secretary Fayaz Ali Shah confirmed that the administration had turned the vehicles over to the Chief Minister's House, though further details regarding their use have not been officially released.

The distribution of official resources for political activities raises questions of misuse of authority and government assets, though no formal investigation has been announced as of yet.
