As per some media reports, Pakistan's star cricketer Shaheen Shah Afridi and Ansha Afridi's wedding festivities will start from September 19, 2023 after the conclusion of the ongoing Asia Cup tournament.

 The aforementioned update regarding the wedding bells of one of the most admired couple has been shared by a sports journalist Qadir Khwaja.

Qadir Khawaja taken to his social media handle ‘X’ and stated: “Fakhta told me that national team's star fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will tie the knot after the Asia Cup. Shaheen Afridi's barat ceremony will be held on September 19 in Karachi and Walima ceremony will be held in a private hotel of Islamabad on 21st sep. Gud luck. @iShaheenAfridi.”

Shaheen Afridi and Ansha Afridi had been nikahfied in February 2023 while their wedding festivities had been postponed until this month September due to the Asia Cup series which are set to conclude in few days.
