Federal Secretary Interior and former Chief Secretary Punjab Abdullah Sambal was buried in the graveyard of the Lahore Cantt after offering funeral prayer at Habib Masjid Tufail Road on Thursday.
Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi and Caretaker Federal Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, provincial ministers, Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr Usman, political, high-ranked officials and a large number of people participated in the funeral prayer.
Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi visited the family of Abdullah Sumbal and expressed deep sorrow and regret with the deceased's father and son.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family and recited Fatiha for the rest of the soul of the late Abdullah Sumbal.
Mohsin Naqvi said Abdullah Sumbal was a dutiful and honest officer and his services will always be remembered.
