The stepmother of Sara Sharif, the girl found dead in Britain, Beenish Batul said in a video statement that Sara’s death was merely an accident, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
She said her family was deeply affected by whatever was happening around.
She clarified that Sara died after falling from the stairs due to which her neck broke and that is her cause of death.
She blamed that all this has been spread through Pakistani media.
“Our whole family is in hiding and children are not going to school and everyone is scared,” says Benish.
She said they are ready to cooperate with the British authorities and will fight their case in court.
