Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz said on Friday that people of Daska’s NA-75 constituency would represent the sentiments of 220 million people of Pakistan during the by-election in the constituency on April 10 (Saturday).
In her message to party workers, voters and supporters in the NA-75 constituency, Maryam said the entire nation was looking towards Daska ahead of the by-election. She said that God has given the people of Daska another chance to avenge the PTI government, which came into power by stealing people’s votes.
Maryam said it was time for the people to avenge the government, which deprived the poor of food and Pakistan of its development, prosperity and due respect. She exalted the people of Daska to give respect to vote, safeguard their vote against theft and provide a complete security cover to the election staff.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is holding by-election in the NA-75 constituency on April 10. This National Assembly seat fell vacant after PML-N lawmaker Syed Iftikharul Hassan Shah died a couple of years ago.
Now Iftikharul Hassan’s daughter Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar is contesting the by-election from the PML-N side in the NA-75 constituency. The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has fielded Ali Asjad Malhi as its candidate against Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar in the NA-75 constituency.
Earlier on February 19, by-election in the NA-75 constituency ran into controversy after both PML-N and the PTI levelled allegations of violence and vote rigging against each other.
