The funeral of Naib Subedar Hazrat Gul (Shaheed) and Sepoy Nazir Ullah Mehsud Shaheed was held at the Peshawar Garrison.

Their coffins will be taken to their native towns for burial with full military honours. Peshawar Corps Commander,  military and civilian officials and a large number of people attended the funeral.

The 37-year Naib Subedar belonged to Lower Dir and the 34-year-old Sepoy Nazir Ullah Mehsud to South Waziristan, according to ISPR.

They embraced martyrdom in an IED blast in the Bara area of the Khyber district of KP.

“Pakistan’s Security Forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” said the ISPR.
