The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir on Monday hosted an iftar dinner for the Pakistan men’s cricket team at Army House Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to ISPR, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi along with PCB officials also attended the Iftar.
Pakistan Cricket Team underwent and concluded physical training at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT) camp in Kakul, Abbottabad.
COAS while talking with the players wished them all the best in their future endeavours.
The cricketers thanked COAS for the excellent training extended provided to them at Kakul and the role the Army plays in supporting the games in Pakistan.
It’s important to note that New Zealand is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on April 14 for the much-anticipated five-match T20I series.
The teams will play the first three T20Is at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on April 18, 20, and 21. Following these matches, both teams will relocate to Lahore to play the remaining two T20Is of the series on April 25 and 27, respectively.
