Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb on Tuesday claimed that inflation would gradually come down in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking to reporters in Islamabad, he said he was going to Washington on April 14 where he would hold talks with the InternationaI Monetary Fund (IMF) officials on the Fund’s new programme for Pakistan.
“Whatever steps we will take, will be for the betterment of the country,” he assured.
Replying to a question whether he would formulate policies on his own or follow those of the PML-N, the minister replied that he would follow the policy that would be in the interest of the country. “Whatever we will do, will do after consultations with the provincial governments,” he said.
