Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has instructed concerned authorities to ensure foolproof security arrangements on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday instructed that best security arrangements should be made for Eid-ul-Fitr gatherings, especially mosques and Imambargahs.

The CM directed that police and law enforcement agencies should be vigilant on Eid Night (Chand Raat) and Eid-ul-Fitr.

Additional police personnel should be deployed in markets, bazaars and shopping centers, Maryam Nawaz directed.

She further instructed that senior police officials must be present in the field to review the security arrangements on Eid Night and Eid-ul-Fitr.

The police will have to work hard and diligently for public order, said Maryam Nawaz.

The formulated security plan should be implemented in any case, Maryam Nawaz directed.
