Founder Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has approached Lahore High Court against the dismissal of petitions by the trial court in the matters of appointing a commission to record controversial legal points in Shahbaz Sharif’s Rs10 billion claim against Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
However, the court reserved decision on founder PTI's petition.
In 2017, Shahbaz Sharif filed a Rs10 billion defamation lawsuit against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman (PTI) Imran Khan for alleging that he was offered a Rs10 billion bribe by a close associate of the chief minister to drop the Panama Papers case against then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
