Two people were dead on the spot when an accused Mohammad Ilyas opened fire on them in Daska, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Wednesday.
The incident occurred in Mohallah Rehmatpura of Daska. The deceased were later identified as Talha and Mohammad Asim.
Both the dead persons belonged to village Raja Ghuman.
Soon after receiving the report of the incident, a police team reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to a local hospital.
Police also arrested accused Mohammad Ilyas and recovered the weapon used in the murder from the possession of the accused.
Police said that the cause of the murder is still unknown.
Police, after registering a case against the accused, started an investigation.
