As many as 118 Indian citizens, stuck in Pakistan amid the coronavirus travel restrictions, will go back to India via Wagah border in Lahore on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel quoting its sources on Sunday.
Pakistan has allowed the Indian nationals to cross the Wagah border to return to India, the TV channel reported.
The sources maintained that the India High Commission in Pakistan has forwarded a request to Pakistan seeking permission for its nationals to go back to India via Wagah border.
In April this year, Pakistan High Commission in India said that 41 Pakistani nationals returned to the country via Wagah border as they were trapped in India due to the lockdown amid COVID-19 pandemic.
“These Pakistani tourists came to India on various visas including medical treatment at Agra, Delhi and Haryana,” the Pakistan High Commission said.
