Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that India, the Afghan National Directorate of Security; and Israel were behind the unrest in the country including the recent terror attack on Dasu Chinese engineers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Minister said that the Pakistani nation was standing with their Kashmiri brethren and the CPEC.

He was talking to media persons in Islamabad on Monday. The Interior Minister said that investigation into the Dasu bus bomb blast was completed adding that it would be shared with the media persons by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

Sharing an update on the investigation into the alleged abduction of the Afghan Ambassador's daughter, the minister said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would share the update as the Afghan team was gone back on August 8.

“We provided the investigation details to the Afghan team via Pakistan’s Foreign Office,” he added.

Commenting on the PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s visa extension issue, the minister said, “Nawaz Sharif’s passport has been revoked on February 16. He must come back to the country as leaders always live and die in their own country.”

“Nawaz Sharif has only two options now, either he will go in appeal for visa extension or he will apply for asylum,” he added.

He said authorities have decided to take stern action against those who were responsible for flooding in sector E-11, Islamabad.

Sheikh Rasheed said that the interior ministry has asked all provinces to take strict security measures in the Muharram ul Haram.
