The official car of Kot Addu assistant commissioner was rammed into a logs-loaded tractor-trolley killing the mother of the AC and injuring him and two other people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rescue officials told 24NewsHD on Monday that the official car of Kot Addu Assistant Commissioner Fiaz Ahmad Jatala crashed into a tractor-trolly loaded with logs on TP Link Road, Kot Addu.

The mother of the assistant commissioner died on the spot while the AC Jatala and two other people including his driver got injured in the accident.

Mr Jatala was shifted to Nishtar Hospital, Multan while two other injured persons were moved to Kot Addu Hospital.

Rescue sources informed that the car rammed into the tractor-trolley due to darkness. The car was coming from Multan and was heading to Kot Addu.

The assistant commissioner belongs to Okara and his mother’s body was being shifted to Okara for burial.
