PM advises calling Overseas Pakistani Convention in Lahore
PM directed the finance ministry to expand Kamyab Pakistan Program for low-income families.

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has directed Punjab Governor Sarwar Chaudhry to hold an overseas Pakistanis convention and international conference for investment in Pakistan at the Governor’s House Lahore.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PM Monday arrived Lahore on an official visit and inaugurated Miyawaki Forest here at Sagian.
Later he reached the Governor’s House and held a special meeting with the Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
In the meeting, they reviewed the law and order and public welfare development projects in the province.
The Punjab governor congratulated the PM on his party’s victory in the Kashmir election. Sarwar paid tribute to Imran Khan for taking steps for the protection of the rights of minorities and the rehabilitation work of the Hindu temple at Bhong.
The PM directed the Governor to invite foreign investors to the Governor House and convinced them to invest in Pakistan having great opportunities in every sector in the country.
Earlier, Federal Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen and Special Assistant for Youth Affairs Usman Dar met the PM and briefed him on the preparations for the Kamyab (Successful) Pakistan Program (KPP) in Islamabad.
They briefed the PM that the KPP was being finalized and would be launched across the country soon.
On this occasion, the PM directed the finance ministry to expand the KPP to facilitate low-income families. He said the flagship welfare program should be facilitated poor classes.
The PM also advised using all government resources to lift up deserving families out of poverty.
