A clerk at the School Education Department of Punjab tampered with the documents of a retired teacher and extracted salaries for 18 months by showing his wife a government teacher, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
It is learnt that the retired teacher was the namesake of the wife of the accused, Shayan Ghazi.
A case of forgery was registered against the accused by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE).
ACE court judge Khalid Bhatti rejected the bail petition of the accused, and he was arrested.
