An unidentified person Thursday in the Akora Khattak area of Nowshera kidnapped a polio worker and threw the hostage near Khushal Khan Degree College, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The hostage polio worker was kidnapped by three perpetrators on her way back from work. She stated that motorcyclists pursued her the past day as well.

The kidnappers released the hostage after talking to someone on the phone.

The police started investigating and searching for the culprits after recording the hostage’s statement.
