MQM, Pakistan Sunni Tehreek join hands for general elections

In a significant political development, the leaders of MQM Pakistan and Pakistan Sunni Tehreek Saturday held a meeting to discuss their electoral strategy for the upcoming general elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to sources, both parties agreed to support each other in various constituencies of Karachi and announced the formation of committees to review the seat-to-seat situation.

The names of the committee members will be decided by both parties soon. The meeting was part of MQM's efforts to intensify its political contacts and alliances ahead of the polls.

Sources said that the leaders of MQM and Pakistan Sunni Tehreek will hold another meeting in the near future to finalize their electoral cooperation.
