480 Chinese working on Saindak, Dodar projects test negative for coronavirus

All Chinese nationals and Pakistanis working on Saindak and Dodar projects have been cleared for coronavirus.
Screening of as many as 480 Chinese nationals along with 2,900 Pakistanis was carried out, which was found satisfactory.
According to MCC Vice President Humayun Khan, ban on return of Chinese went to their country is still intact in view of Coronavirus spread.
Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Secretary chaired a high level meeting to reviewed arrangement for dealing with the coronavirus situation. There are a total of 1,200 Chinese – 522 in Lasbela, 167 in Gwadar, 168 in Chaghi and 343 in other parts of the province. The CS was briefed that special centres for Coronavirus treatment have been set at Shaikh Zaid Hospital and Fatima Jinnah Chest Hospital in Quetta. Special arrangements have also been made in Turbat and Gwadar.
The CS directed that instead of special wards, rooms should be reserved for Coronavirus suspected cases in hospitals. Screening arrangements should be made at all airports of the province.
