Pakistan People‘s Party (PPP) Chairperson Tuesday praised the people of Hyderabad for organising the ‘biggest’ gathering of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
“They have always played their role for the cause. They have won my heart. I salute the people of Hyderabad,” Bilawal said in his address to the rally of a 10-party alliance against the government in Hyderabad.
Every dictator was afraid of Hyderabad people, he said, adding that Gen Zia was afraid of even its students and the 'selected' government of puppet premier is too scared of them.
He came down hard on PM Imran Khan for what he called breaking his promises and adding to public woes.
“The incapable PM says Sindh is not his province. As he (the prime minister) is selected and came to power by rigging, he has no province indeed. He doesn’t need Sindh and its people he just needs the provincial resources.
"But we will protect our rights as well as democracy and we will oust this selected premier to save democracy. The Sindh share in NFC is being denied and a cut of Rs116 billion was imposed while the province has been deprived of Rs200 billion,” Bilawal said.
However, he assured the gathering of retaking due share of the province from the Centre. He said Imran promised a new Pakistan but he brought inflation while labours and traders were being subject to financial murder.
"In the name of operation against encroachments, people are being deprived of their shelter, the PPP chairperson said recalling Imran' promises of 10 million jobs and preferring suicide to approaching the IMF.”
