Asserting that people’s vote was a power, former foreign minister and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who is also a candidate from NA-194, said on Thursday that he would not let anyone steal the people’s mandate from him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the media after casting his vote at Naudero in Larkana, he said categorically that nobody else could be given the mandate people had given to his party.
“The high turnout witnessed today shows that the PPP will emerge victorious in the elections,” he said, and added, “This is my request to the people of Pakistan to come out of their homes and cast their votes.”
Condemning the suspension of mobile phone service in the country, Bilawal demanded its immediate restoration.
