Results starts pouring in as counting begins

The results from different constituencies of the country from different polling stations started pouring in as counting started for the General Elections 2012, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


According to unofficial result of Swat’s NA 3, PTI-backed independent candidate Salimur Rahman is leading with 103 votes while PML-N's Wajid Ali is behind him with 68 votes. Awami National Party's candidate Sherbaz Khan has bagged 55 votes so far.


According to unofficial incomplete result of Rohri’s NA-200, PPP’s candidate Numan Islam Sheikh is leading with 950 votes. Grand Democratic Alliance (GAD)’s ticket holder Deedar Jatoi is behind him with 150 votes.




 In NA-32, PTI nominated independent candidate Asif Khan ahead with 60 votes from a male polling booth at the Gulbahar polling station. According to the unofficial results, an independent candidate Asif Khan is second with 4 votes and PPP's Abid Ullah Yousafzai is third with 3 votes. ANP's candidate Ghulam Balor took only one vote. Gulbahar polling station has a total of four polling booths and more than 1,800 votes. The presiding officer of the polling station said a total of 620 votes had been polled and the counting of votes in three polling booths was continued.
