Former president Asif Ali Zardari and ex-FM Bilawal Bhutto reached Lahore. 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

Both leaders expressed resentment over poor performance in NA-127 and sought a report on Bilawal Bhutto's defeat in the constituency.

The two leaders will review the post-election situation and according to sources they will hold important meetings.

Claiming to have emerged as the largest party in the election, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Supremo Nawaz Sharif called upon independent candidates and others to join hands with his party to get the country rid of the crisis.

He asked his brother Shehbaz Sharif to approach former president Asif Ali Zardari, JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and MQM leadership to hold negotiations.
